Who are we and what do we do?

Who We Are

ADG Project Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Staten Island, NY, dedicated to uplifting, empowering, and supporting underserved communities through culturally rooted, community-driven programs. Born from a passion to go against the grain, we bridge the gap between mentorship, mental health, and real-world skill-building.

What We Do

We provide innovative programs that meet people where they are—from our signature Cuts & Conversations initiative that blends barbering with mental health discussions, to youth development, educational workshops, support groups, and events that highlight healing, resilience, and growth. ADG Project Inc. is more than a nonprofit—we’re a movement for change, rooted in community, powered by lived experience, and focused on building a better future, one life at a time.

Community Events

  • We offer a variety of programs focused on mental health, mentorship, and life skills. Some of our key initiatives include Cuts & Conversations, youth support groups, barbering apprenticeships, wellness events, and community outreach that connects families to vital resources.

  • 2. Who can participate in your programs?
Our programs are open to youth, families, and community members across Staten Island—especially those in underserved or at-risk communities. Whether you're looking for mentorship, a safe space to talk, or hands-on skills, we welcome all who are ready to grow.

  • You can support us by volunteering, donating, partnering with us for events, or simply spreading the word. We also welcome barbers, therapists, educators, and mentors who want to give back to the community.
